About Cian

Here's Where I'm Coming From...

I'm Dublin-born and now based in Co Wicklow. Before moving into this work, I spent seven years in the corporate environment, experiencing first-hand the pressures of constant availability, back-to-back meetings, and an always-on pace that rarely leaves much room to recover.

Over time, that pace began to take a real toll. Anxiety and low mood became part of daily life, and like many professionals, my instinct was to manage it by pushing through and trying to keep up. As a neurodivergent person, I was also navigating systems and expectations that weren't well suited to how my brain processes stress and information, often without clear language for why things felt harder than they seemed for others.

What made the difference wasn't stepping away from responsibility or making dramatic life changes. It was learning practical, grounded skills, particularly around functional breathing, mindful attention, and nervous system regulation, that changed how I respond under pressure and how quickly I recover from it.

That experience shapes how I work today. I focus on simple, evidence-informed practices that support people to stay regulated, focused, and resilient in demanding environments, without promising quick fixes or pretending stress can be eliminated entirely

How I Work

I'm not a talking therapist. I am someone who has sat where you're sitting, in a demanding career, carrying more than you let on, and learning how to work with stress rather than constantly pushing against it. My approach is practical, grounded, and built for real life, not for a world where you have hours each day to meditate.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or constantly running on empty, I work with simple, evidence-informed tools that support better regulation, focus, and recovery under pressure. The aim isn't to eliminate stress, but to help you relate to it differently and recover more effectively when it shows up.
